Can we say stress!

Ok so lets just say that I dont profess to be a professional computer geek! Basically when it comes to computers I am illiterate. I had to go have my second computer lesson in blogging today from my good friend Jodi! My morning started at 6:30 am with Blogging and stressing because I really screwed my blog up. So I waited until it was a decent hour and called my dear old pal for lesson #2. Thanks for bailing me out Jod! You rock sista! Anyways-hope that you all like the newest slide show. Hopefully, I will eventually get it, and be a little more creative.

As for my week, it was busy, fun and I am tired! I am still on the marathon-hitting the last leg. I know that by Sunday, I'll be napping and wiped out from the week. This has been a stellar week when I realize all that I have done - AND how out of shape I truly am. Between biking, walking, hiking, and boating (plus tending 4 kids extra under the age of 5), I'm still not 24. I commend all you young moms, and although I am glad Im not 24 I wish I had your energy.

MY LATEST ADDICTION- Geocaching

Well besides blogging- I have a new addiction. Or it could become one! I got Steve a new GPS system for Fathers Day. Well Auntie Kristel and I took the kiddies out for the entire afternoon yesterday and treasure hunted. She had her nephew and neices and I had our kids and-can you say FUN! We had a BLAST. Infact we had so much fun that we went again for Family Home Evening. Steve thought it was a riot. So if any of you want to go-lets plan a day and get the kiddies and go. Its a day of FREE fun! And once you start-you get the bug for it.
**Beware of muggles!

SHEESH What a week so far!

I've come to the conclusion that I am the marathon mom! I feel completely exhausted. It all started on Sunday evening with the "ebay" auction. Then my sweet little Meg and Mace-felt that they needed to sleep out in the clubhouse. Steve insisted that one of us stay out there with them for safety purposes-because we are talking about Meg and Mason. So I got nominated. Anyways, donned our blankets, pillows, TV, fan, and jammies and spent the night. WHAT A LONG NIGHT! I soon realized that I am not 24 anymore, and all those years at girls camp-wasnt for pansies. Well-needless to say I didnt sleep at all. Trying to get comfy on a wooden floor-well lets just say isnt possible.

Well, I woke up bright and early on Monday morning and spent the day with all of our wonderful activity days girls. We biked out to the lake. Did I mention that I am not 24 anymore. We had a great time and got lots of exercise, and it was a beautiful ride. I love my calling right now. I love the little girlies.

----Here are my great girls-minus a few!

I CANT BELIEVE IT!

I cant believe that I am bidding on an extremely rare album on Ebay right now (and on SUNDAY!)! Do you realize how hard it is to get any Donny Osmond music from the 70's. All those dang old ladies horde them up! SO any of you- my blogger friends and friends who read my blog in the next 25 hours and 20 minutes pray for me to be able to stay in the Donny Album bidding! Sheesh it is very stressful, and exciting, and I am shaking right now! LOL!

2007 Dance Showcase

So every year the girls studio does a huge "Showcase". It is a great show! I actually get to be there this year! Steve has had to do the girl thing the past two years. Anyways-this is a great show, showcasing our studio and our teams. It is not their little Spring Recital-it is just the companies and all of their award winning pieces. They will perform for the public as well as families. If you would like to join us it runs 2 nights. Meggie performs her pieces on Tuesday night, and Mikayla performs hers on Wednesday. Kind of a bummer that they are on different days, but it will gaurantee to be an excellent show both nights.

It is Tuesday June 26th, and Wednesday June 27th. The shows start at 6:30 at the Ragen Theater at UVSC. Ticket prices are $5 a seat. We would love to have any of you join us. If you would like to come, let us know and we will try and get seats together.

Enjoying the summer HEAT!

The kids are having a blast in our back yard. It seems to be the popular place to hang out! We know that we sure enjoy having a yard full of kiddies.

I spent the day yesterday with all of the Activity Girls in our ward up at Camp Jeremiah Johnsons. We had a great time! The girls got to learn how to shoot guns, slingshots, and archery, along with building rockets and planes. I was fortunate enough to go with both of our girlies. We discovered that Megan is a natural when it comes to sports and anything out doors. The girl can hit anything.

Mikayla loved everything especially the sling shots. She jumped up and down everytime she hit the target.

Spending the day up there made me miss girls camp--just dont tell the bishop. After 19 years straight going to camp, I need a little break. I think I'll be ready when my girls go. We loved it!

Meet Jihye

Jihye is our foreign exchange student from Korea who will be staying with us for the summer. She is going to school, and studying to be an English teacher, and is studying communications. The kids are looking forward to a fun time with her this summer and learning about the Korean culture- Steve of course is looking forward to resurrecting his Korean language and eating Kimchi.

Uncle Evans 30th birthday bash!

We had a great time last night at Uncle E bays 30th party Birthday Bash! Aunt Kristel threw a great shin dig for the whole fam! Everyone of Steves siblings were there but Blake and his fam, and Barb who was in Denver going to school. It was a blast fro everyone. It was great to see everyone let down their hair and Kareoke and dance. Thanks Aunt Kristel for a good time-had by all!

Mason

Mace just finished preschool and did very well. His teacher says that he should just skip kindergarten and go right onto 1st grade. He loves his Miss Jilayne and Miss Honey. He just recieved his orange belt and did soccer this year. He is "Evil Kneivel"-still! He keeps us on the move all the time. We spend time at the ER and the doctors office getting stitches. I kiss lots of boo boos- and am the human GPS system as I am always looking for Mason in the neighborhood. He loves to hug, sleep with mom and dad, play the play station, read stories, tease the girlies, ride his bike and scooter, and jump on the tramp with his buddies Ryan and Teague.

Meggie

Our little Meg! Isnt she soooo cute! All that beautiful hair and
those big brown eyes. She keeps "everyone" hopping. Not just us, but her teachers, her dance teachers, her primary teachers. Meg just is little "Miss independant!"
She too got straight A's this semester. She has a new little dance partner that just started with her a month or so ago. So we are hoping for a better comp year for her this next season. But her team did very well. They place in the top 3 in every comp, and took 3rd at BYU nationals. Not too bad for 8 year old ball-roomers. She is amazing to watch. We are continually amazed when we watch her cha-cha and jive, and samba. She has the strength and the moves thats for sure. She is loving summer vacation and cant wait to go spend time with Gramsies and Grandpa Preece this summer.

Mikayla

Mikayla turned 10 last month! She got straight A's this past semester. She keeps busy with school, and dance. She has had a very successful dance season. Her team took Nationals in Florida in March and she thinks that she wants to go back there and live. Her team took 1st place in every number they did at the Utah Nationals a few weeks ago. She was also crowned "Queen" at this particular competition. We are very proud of her. She loves to play with her friends, read, learn and giggle. She has the best disposition. She is looking forward to life settling down this summer. (does it settle down?!)

Ker

I am a busy busy mom. Every now and again I get to go have some fun, but for the most part I am the dance taxi to Mikayla and Megs. I spend a lot of time working with my business as well. I have a growing team with Close to My Heart. I love working with all my gals. They inspire me on a daily basis. I am currently a director and working towards the Mediterranean Cruise next year. We are trying to get on a summer schedule (if there is a schedule), but everyday poses more activities and FUN-so I guess we will enjoy the fun.
