December Means........

Christmas fun and tradition for our family. We all love the holidays. Not so much the gifts (they are fun), but the time we spend together. I'm hoping to make it extra special this year for everyone.

Dugan our little Christmas elf arrived with a package on Monday after school. He left the kids their Christmas countdown chain(with something new to do each day together), a new ornament, a new Christmas video, a Chocolate Countdown calendar, an art book and a letter from Santa. The kids were thrilled!

Day #1-the kids spent decorating the family room with holiday chains and snowflakes. White lights and gold beads. Our basement looks like a scene from the mall on the movie "Elf".
December 2nd-The kids got ceramic ornaments to paint for their trees in their bedrooms.

Megs Snowman

Kayla's Tree (she spent an hour getting the sparkles just perfect!)

Mace and his Santa!
Everyday in December is filled with time together! The gift of "Time".

Wasn't that elf of yours supposed to share the chain idea? Sounds like fun Keri. Love the new family picture on the blog and the picture of you and Stevie Wonderbuns.

You make all of the rest of us look so lame in the family time department. I am sure your kiddos just love all of that. I finally have the house and office decorated and company gone, now if I can just get through Dave's 40th birthday, I will be ready to take on Christmas!

Great ideas. I need to be better about doing family crafty things. I love how that scene in "The Elf" is decorated, I bet your basement looks so good.
