Paigey Bunny Turns 8

We love our little niece Paige.  She turned 8 and became a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.  What a great day to be baptized.  We are proud of you Paigey buns.

FALL Brings....

Fall brings BYU football which means we get to spend a little time with the grandparents!  I love this photo of Mace riding bikes with Grandpa.  I love that Grandpa still thinks hes a kid.
I love that Mom gets to come visit and hang out while the boys are all at the game.

WETNESS

Spring in Utah this year was to say the least- WET!  It felt like it was cold and rainy and dreary all spring.
I went as a chaperone on Masons end of year field trip- (In May) to the Hogle Zoo.  It rained and rained.  The kids were wet and cold, and then it began to SNOW!  Needless to say it was a rotten, cold, trip.  The animals didnt come out and we had to make it a short day.
But at the end of the storm there is alway a rainbow.

14---Really?

Yes our little girl turned 14 this year.  She is beautiful.  She is smart.  She is funny.  She can dance.  She loves to read.  She loves the gospel.  She loves to hang with her besties.  She loves movies.  She has her Daddy tied around her little finger.  She holds a BIG place in her Daddy's heart.  She loves writing.  She LOVES to sleep.  She loves her life.  We LOVE her!  Happy 14th Birthday Mikayla.
All she wanted for her birthday was to have her friends over to roast weenies and make smores.  They played games, giggled and had a blast.  She is blessed to have such great, strong examples for friends.

Making her wish!
**Did I mention that she got a TON of books for her birthday. She was HAPPY.

Arizona

In the dance world we sometimes get to travel. This season has been no exception.  Knowing that we were going to New York City, Mikayla had to pre-qualifiy all of their dance numbers.  There are only so many spots per catagory at each regional city.  Well we had to get the trio qualified, and so Arizona was the last city that was close enough for us to go.   So I took Mikayla and Emilee Clark and Megs and we drove to Phoenix for a long weekend.   Essy and her mom flew.
While we were in Arizona we stayed with the Boltz family.  Megan loved spending time with Logan in the pool.

These 3 lovely ladies spent their time rehearsing and dancing.  LOVE the blue shadow!

They did their trio- "Walk the Line". Choreographed by Janalyn Memmott.

They are a little sassy, but their costumes ROCKED!

What am I saying? They ROCKED!  They got a platinum award. Yeah baby they came and did their job-plus some.  We were proud.  Have I ever mentioned that Mikayla is a beast before she competes.  BUT when she is done-she is awesome. She is in the zone on comp days.
We got to see our Aunt Nen and Cousin Claire.  It was fun!  We drank some
Starbucks, and the girls rode the escalators.  It was uber fun to see them.

My crashed out babies on the long car ride home.

Thanks for the amazing weekend in April Mikayla, Megan and Mem!

Dinner with da sista's

We had a super fun time at dinner on Friday night.  All of the sisters and sister in laws, and Mama (minus Aunt Nen)- got together and went to PF Changs to celebrate Suzie and Amber turning 40.  It twas fun!  Lots of laughter, and giggles.  Good to get away from the kiddos and have some girl time.  It was much needed.  Thanks Barb for the great organizational skills.
